Services

How I work

I offer a gentle, collaborative, and body-aware approach to therapy. Alongside conversation, I may draw on nervous system awareness, grounding, and simple embodiment practices where helpful. I am in ongoing supervision for all three therapies to ensure that what I offer is safe, ethical and effective. 

There are three ways of working together. We can find the approach that feels most supportive for you.

Counselling will not include touch, however the other two modalities can include it where appropriate and it's in service of you. 

Counselling

I am a qualified counsellor, trained to Level 4 at Mary Ward Centre. I am a registered member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within its ethical framework. My registration number is 416767.

Counselling offers a calm, non-judgemental space to talk about your life at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we make room for what is present and explore what may be helpful. I can work with a wide range of issues, please get in touch if you are uncertain. 

Sessions are 60 minutes long and can be in person or online.

Somatic Experiencing - Informed Work 

I am currently in my first year of training in Somatic Experiencing. Having worked for many years with people affected by trauma and PTSD, this training feels like a natural deepening of the work I already offer.

Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach developed by Peter Levine. It pays attention to how experience is held in the body and nervous system, and supports a gentle return towards regulation, steadiness, and ease.

You do not need to tell the whole story, or even have clear memories of what has happened.

At present, I may draw on elements of this training where appropriate, but I am not yet offering Somatic Experiencing as a standalone therapy in its full form until October 2026 as a trainee.

Sessions are 60-90 minutes long and are currently only in person

Nurturing Touch Therapy

I have been offering Nurturing Touch Therapy since 2013.

This is a gentle, body-based approach that may include conversation, mindfulness, body awareness, nervous system regulation, and nurturing touch. Each session is shaped around your individual needs.

Together, we pay attention to what you would like from the session, while also listening to the needs of your nervous system so that the work feels safe, supportive, and well-paced.

Sessions may support rest, grounding, and relaxation; or can deeper therapeutic work.

Sessions are 1-3 hours long and are in person

Location and Availability

I work from North Finchley in London, a short walk from Woodside Park Underground Station on the Northern Line.

I am generally available between 10am and 5pm on weekdays, with occasional weekend appointments.

Sessions are £80 per hour.

I offer a sliding scale from £60 based on circumstances, and have a small number of lower-cost spaces for those experiencing financial difficulty. Feel free to ask about current availability.
